Emory Autism Center 2020 Summer Conference has ended
The Emory Autism Center’s Monarch Summer Conference is for anyone involved with the education of individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) including educators, vocational providers, behavior specialists, school administrators, paraprofessionals, speech and occupational therapists, rehabilitation counselors, school psychologists, parents, family members, mental health providers, families of individuals with ASD, and individuals with ASD.

We are featuring 25 sessions with top notch speakers in education and transition for students with ASD. Please identify the appropriate track (parent, education, transition) that will fit your interests/needs in order to identify sessions to attend.

Summary:
Janet and J-Jaye will be highlighting and sharing the variety of evidence-based resources and tool kits that Autism Speaks has for our students with autism and their caregivers, educators, service providers and more. From help with blood draws to MRI teaching stories, Autism Speaks provides both printable and interactive resources covering many of the topics we encounter in our day to day life with autism. Bring your topics of concern and learn about the free resources available from the Autism Treatment Networks, the Autism Response Team and Autism Speaks.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Participants will learn to successfully navigate the evidence-based resources and tool kits that are available to our community on the Autism Speaks website.
  2. Participants will access the free services offered by the Autism Response Team to all members of our community.
  3. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own areas of concern and be connected with online resources and supports.
